Founded in 1983, the Cegid is the leading French publisher of computerized management software packages and is amongst the Top 10 in Europe, with more than 2000 associates and a turnover of 228.2 M€.

Today, the Cegid strategy focuses around the following axes:

    • Real expertise gained over several years in the "on demand" proposals and information system hosting intended for companies of all sizes. Cegid, publisher-host, is undoubtedly a major player in SaaS. The entire proposal is now offered in the most appropriate access mode for customer operation: by Insourcing (installed on the customer premises), Outsourcing (hosted solution) or ASP (lease mode) with reversibility between the different access modes.
    • A strong culture of making information solutions available in phase with the professional sector and the daily requirements of users. From the outset, Cegid has oriented its offers towards vertical sectors not with "generalist" software proposals but with "professional sector" oriented proposals The recent acquisitions of GTI Industrie and PMI SOFT, publishers and distributors of management solutions for industrial companies, as well as AS Infor for the Retail trades is witness to this strong ambition.
    • A strategic partnership with the Liberal Accountancy Profession guarantees Cegid expertise in terms of management and optimizes the synergies between companies and their accountancy expert.

The international ambitions of Cegid are reflected through its multilingual proposals and the intensification of its assistance and deployment team presence on four continents. The setting up of subsidiaries in the USA, Spain and China, completed by the extension of its worldwide partner and distributor network also confirms this desire to accompany its customers in their international development problems and the conquest of new markets.
